This genetically engineering salmon is frighting. I strongly appose it until it’s proven safe for human consumption.
I absolutely agree w/tomoko k. I also find it very scary that the FDA can fast track any food or drug at their, or I should say, industry’s whim. The fast tracking process originally was supposed to help those who were very ill & needed & wanted drugs or they would die. However, this fast tracking is of course being abused for profit. We are dying from their greed. Get rid of this process. Get rid of GMO’s. They’re not of benefit to anyone but to greedy industry.

I saw this report in the news this morning and felt very disgusted. What is wrong with our salmon now? And I’m not talking about the farm raised kind. Are we really in need of a quicker and larger growing fish that’s been injected with growth hormones? Do scientists have nothing better to do than to mess with our food? What they should be concentrating on are the dangers that already exist within our food system and do testing on this.
This is just another thing to add to my do not eat list, a large list in itself. I shouldn’t have to have a list if companies would stop focusing all their attention on profits and not about the health and well being of people.
